ANOTHER TROUBLE? Many Ghanaian Members of Parliament smoke "WEED" — Kwaw Kesse

Tendentious Ghanaian musician, Emmanuel Botchwey commonly known as Kwaw Kese who was arrested and jailed for smoking weed in public has divulged that he vigorously smokes weed as it stands regardless of the trauma the police took him through and even the police are fully aware of it.

Speaking on Joy FM, the "Deemus" hitmaker disclosed that, multifarious influential personalities in Ghana smoke but can't boldly advocate for its legalization, affirming that he even knows some Members of Parliament who  smoke marijuana.

“I know some Parliamentarians who smoke weed,” he stated, indicating that he has been smoking for over 2 decades.

“As we age, you can’t hide the truth forever. I smoke and it’s good for my health…I’ve been smoking for over 20 years; there’s never been any complication” ‘Abodam’ declared.

Kwaw Kesse is not the first showbiz personality to disclose that some Parliamentarians use the illegal substance. Blakk Rasta once appeared before Parliament over weed comments of this calibre, so it is unclear how Ghanaian parliamentarians will take this allegation against the August house.

Kwaw Kese, was arrested by the police in Kumasi on Saturday, November 22, 2014, for allegedly smoking cannabis in public. On Thursday, April 23, 2015, Judge William Boampong sentenced him to a day’s imprisonment and a fine of GHc1,200.
