Kumawood poster boy and music artiste, Kojo Nkansah customarily known as Lil Win, has denied ever being a cultist. He indicated that his success is a manifestation of God’s blessings.
He believes that a mastery of prayer and patience leads to success.Â
The "Ladder" hitmaker further stated that he is a good person, and would therefore never indulge himself in any form of evil acts.Â
Recalling the first time he appeared on set, he stated that his persistence convinced the director to give him the chance, and that eventually led to his success. He added that he once sold footwears, as well as other materials. People, he said, discouraged him, but he pressed on without being perturbed.

He revealed that men of God prayed with him, and consequently told him he would be a great man someday.
"I do not listen to people, but persist till i attain my objectives." he stated
He concluded by saying had it not been God, he might have been a criminal.
