Humble Plea: Daddy Lumba Is Old And Unenergetic Now, Event Organisers Kindly Let Him Rest!

After his marvelous debut dubbed "yeeye aka akwantuo" with Nana Acheampong as 'Lumba brothers' then, he proceeded to treat Ghanaians to phenomenal and inspiring tracks worth digesting which spoke much about life.
He has worked with so many perfect artistes in the country with the likes of Ofori Amponsah, Pat Thomas, Sarkodie and a host of other Grade A artistes.
Daddy Lumba has won lots of awards which clearly testifies how vibrant he's been throughout his entire career.Â
Unfortunately, Daddy Lumba has one deficient record many revellers and his followers hate about him thus his poor stage performance. It started some years ago of which industry players were very optimistic that with time he would up his game but the saddest of all is, over decades Lumba keeps disappointing his fans who pay huge sums of money to witness his live performances. The less said the better.Â
He performed at Miklin Hotel on 24th Dec this year and it took the intervention of Captain Planet, Lil Win and Wutah to save the show from disruption.
No wonder countless fans prefer listening to Lumba's recorded tracks to his live performance.
I humbly move as a young Journalist, entertainment pundit and a Blogger that, event organisers of this era should omit Lumba from annual live concerts for good, to safeguard the heritage and image Ghana has earned as the home of indigenous Highlife/Live band music.Â
Daddy Lumba is gradually growing old and lacks energy to thrill fans during such shows.
